Our Story: A Venture Bringing Visions to Life

It started with a phone call with Ann McCormick, the founder of The Learning Company, and Jeff Levinsky, who later founded Wowbrary. It was a simple project to use children’s education software techniques to teach people about lighting for the American Lighting Association. Turns out, it was our light bulb moment and the start of our journey. This is Eike Consulting’s story, our venture bringing visions to life.

Chapter 1: Inception and Ambition

Every journey starts with a single step, and ours began with a shared ambition: to bridge the gap between imagination and implementation. We are founded by a group of tech enthusiasts who believed that with the right approach, any concept, no matter how abstract, could be transformed into a functional piece of software. Notably was how we turned a honeycomb of letters into a reading app that won 13 awards from Parents Choice to Dr. Toy and Tillywig.

Chapter 2: Assembling the Team

Realizing tech visions requires a diverse set of skills and perspectives, from architects, developers, designers, project managers, and domain experts. We have built a talented team to turn ideas into actions. A team that shares the passion for innovation, a team that recognizes the ambition of the clients. This is how our team went from being strategic consultants at PlayStation to becoming their technology partner building PlayStation’s digital infrastructure for the gaming community.

Chapter 3: Nurturing Creativity

We quickly learned that nurturing creativity was essential. We encourage our team to think outside the box and provide them with the freedom to explore unconventional solutions. This approach not only led to innovative results but also fostered a culture of continuous learning, iterative improvements, and openness to experimentation. A culture that was recognized by Google. Slingshot Island and Memory Lane were selected as featured two launch titles for the debut of Google’s Augmented Reality technologies.

Chapter 4: Understanding Client Visions

Every client approached us with a unique vision. Some had a crystal-clear idea of what they wanted, while others needed our help to define their tech dreams. We realized the importance of active listening and effective communication in translating these visions into actionable plans. An unforgettable vision from Wowbrary is to share the love of reading. Today, we help Wowbrary send out over a million emails a week for over a thousand libraries to their devoted readers.

Chapter 5: From Code to Creation

With plans in place, our team got to work. Designs evolved from sketches to visuals, lines of code began to form, and concepts gradually transformed into tangible products. The journey from an abstract idea to a functional software application was marked by countless iterations, feedback loops, and relentless evolutions. Strangely, this process mimics the vision of one of our clients, Melonfrost, leveraging the power of cell evolution to design organisms, directing evolution, selecting desired traits, and improving through iterations.

Chapter 6: Overcoming Challenges

No journey is without its challenges. From unexpected technical hurdles to shifting project scopes, we faced them all. But it was our commitment to problem-solving and adaptability that allowed us to overcome these obstacles, ensuring that our clients’ visions remained on track.
A good example is how we overcame challenges for Tree3. It is a complex project leveraging robotics process automation to streamline the ecommerce process, while using artificial intelligence to learn consumer behaviors. As there are large variables when dealing with millions of products, hundreds of retailers, and ever changing consumer wants and needs, the scope of the project grew and changed quickly. We were able to adapt, while keeping focused at core functionality, leading to a successful beta launch, transacting over $1m for Clorox’s Clear the List back-to-school campaign.

Chapter 7: Celebrating Success Stories

Seeing our clients’ visions come to life was the most rewarding part of our journey. From launching innovative mobile apps that simplified daily tasks to creating web platforms that connected people worldwide to applying artificial intelligence to learn user behaviors, each success story validated our dedication and reaffirmed our belief in technology. We celebrate the success of SummitK12, who came to us with a deck with a simple vision to empower learners. Together we turned that deck into a learning platform achieving 10x growth, nationwide adoption, and accelerating learning for students across the country.

The tech landscape is ever-changing, and so are the dreams that it inspires. We understood the importance of staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies. This commitment to evolution allowed us to offer cutting-edge solutions that aligned with the ever-evolving tech visions of our clients. At Opsis, the challenge was to bring technologies from robotics to internet-of-things and artificial intelligence into a seamless platform that revolutionizes health and wellbeing by connecting food with data for intelligent nutrition. An exciting venture evolving with technology.
